Should be requested and approved 30 days prior to the start of the quarter.Faculty must support 1/6 of their annual salary on grant/gift funds (50% of the quarter = 1/6th of annual).No more than one course may be bought out in any quarter.No more than two courses can be bought out in a year.Faculty must teach at least one UG course.When an appropriate alternate teaching plan has been identified and approved by the Chair, a faculty member may propose to be relieved of teaching duties up to two courses in one year.
